For 46 years, the St. Vincent de Paul Society has sponsored an annual Thanksgiving food box outreach program for those less fortunate. This is a family-to-family act of charity. Your family can share the tradition of Thanksgiving with families in need.
This is an opportunity for you to directly impact a family in need. Please consider helping us provide a Thanksgiving dinner for those who would otherwise be unable to afford one.
Each year, St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho opens the Christmas Toy Store to families in need who cannot afford to purchase Christmas Gifts for their children. In partnership with local school counselors in Ada and Canyon County, we provide gifts at no out-of-pocket cost to families with children ages 0-18 to shop at our Christmas Toy Store.

In the spirit of Christmas, members of our reentry team deliver cookies to inmates the South Boise Correctional Complex. This small act of kindness is an opportunity to extend compassion, fellowship, and community to incarcerated individuals in Idaho. Christmas is a time to reflect on the blessings we have been given and to extend a hand to our neighbors in need.
Receiving a Christmas cookie, as an resident, might be the only act of humanity and kindness shown to them during the holiday season.
