First Day Out Services
St. Vincent de Paul Southwest Idaho’s first day out services include a variety of tools and resources to ensure that individuals coming out of incarceration have a successful Reentry. Our first day out services begin with prison pick up, first day out help, recovery coaching, and community service opportunities.
Below you can find more information on each individual service and how we can best help those reentering back into the community.

We will happily pick you up! Case Managers must complete this form to request a ride for residents prior to release. Our Reentry Services team drop off at local Transitional Housing Facilities, Bus Stations, or the Boise Airport. Our team is comprised of experienced staff and volunteers. Most of the Reentry Services team has had personal experience with incarceration and have made a successful reentry.

We offer a progressive approach to support individuals who are working on their recovery from opioids, methamphetamine use and abuse of alcohol. This program is a partnership between St. Vincent de Paul and the Idaho department of Health and Welfare and Recovery Idaho. Coaches support the process of giving and receiving non-clinical assistance for long-term recovery from substance use disorders.

We offer support to anyone looking to rejoin the community in a positive way. Our Reentry Services team knows the importance of fulfilling all requirements of Probation & Parole.
